For Publishers
The NAPLAN test material is developed for the purpose of conducting national testing in numeracy and literacy on an annual basis. The NAPLAN test program is project-managed by Curriculum Corporation on behalf of the Federal, State and Territory Governments. It is not appropriate for commercial publishers or other organisations to disseminate NAPLAN test material or use the NAPLAN trademark. Doing so may create a false impression that such organisations are endorsed by Government or by Curriculum Corporation, or have the authority to represent the program. It therefore has the potential to mislead or confuse the public.
Copyright in NAPLAN test material is owned by Curriculum Corporation on behalf of the Federal, State and Territory Governments. Unauthorised use of this test material will infringe this copyright.
The test material also contains content the copyright of which is owned by third parties. Third-party copyright owners have granted permission to education departments and assessment authorities to use their content in test material for specific purposes after the tests have been conducted. Third-party copyright owners have not granted permission for commercial use, or use by any other organisations, of their content. Such use would therefore constitute a breach of that third-party copyright.
NAPLAN is a trademark of Curriculum Corporation. Use of the trademark NAPLAN may amount to infringement of the trademark or passing off.
